The color
350 is a copper ginger, a warm orange-red. It brightens warm skin tones and stands out without being a fantasy color.
Who it flatters
Copper ginger glows on fair skin with warm or peach undertones and freckles, and on golden, olive and deep skin with warm undertones, where the orange-red picks up the warmth in the complexion. On cool or pink undertones it can make the face look flushed; a deeper copper-brown tone calms that. Warm makeup ties it together: peach blush and bronze or copper eyeshadow. For lips, a berry or brick shade balances the hair better than a bright orange lip, which competes with it.
How to style it
Copper shows movement vividly. In body wave and deep wave, the top of each curl catches a warm highlight while the underside falls deeper, so the texture reads rich and dimensional. Straight 350 reflects light as one sheet of color, striking in a blunt cut, while face-framing layers break it into softer shades. Lightened copper is sensitive to heat, which fades it toward a brassy yellow-orange, so keep heat moderate, use a protectant and let each curl cool before touching it.
Care tips
Copper tones fade with sun and hot water; rinse cool and store it out of direct light.
Copper fades by losing its red first, drifting toward a pale, brassy orange, and sun is the main cause. Wash less often and in cool water, and run a copper color-depositing conditioner through it every few washes to put back what fades. Skip clarifying and anti-dandruff shampoos, which lift copper fast. Use a UV spray outdoors, and store the wig away from windows: even on a stand, daily sun dulls the color.
Dyeing and toning
Copper is a strong middle point. Going deeper is easy: a warm brown over 350 deepens it toward chestnut, and black covers it in one step. Lighter is harder: strawberry blonde means removing orange pigment first, and ash blonde is not realistic, because ash toner over copper turns muddy instead of neutral. A brown root or copper-brown lowlights are the gentle custom options. Send us a photo of the shade you want; custom color is quoted before you pay.

Questions about these wigs
What color is 350 in wigs?
350 is a bright copper ginger: a warm orange-red with golden glints. It is redder than a strawberry blonde such as #27 and brighter and lighter than auburn such as #30, so it reads as natural-looking red hair rather than a fashion shade. Ours comes as straight, body wave and deep wave lace fronts from 12 to 32 inches (30 to 81 cm).
Are ginger and copper wigs the same?
Mostly yes: sellers use both words for the same warm orange-red family. Strictly, ginger leans more orange and copper a little redder, with a metallic warmth. 350 sits right between the two, which is why it appears under both names. For something deeper and browner, look for auburn; for lighter and softer, strawberry blonde.
Does a ginger wig suit dark skin?
Yes. Copper on deep brown skin makes a warm, glowing contrast, especially with golden or red undertones. If your undertone is cooler, a copper-brown root or a slightly deeper copper keeps it from looking too bright. Gold jewelry and warm or berry lips finish the look. Before shipping you get real photos or a video of your exact wig to compare with your skin in daylight.
How do you dye a black wig ginger?
Lighten first, then add copper. Black has to be lifted past its red stage to an orange-gold, and only then does a copper dye show; copper dye straight on black barely changes it. Lift gently and stop as soon as the hair reaches orange-gold, strand-test first, and keep lightener off the lace. Our 350 comes in that shade already, without the process.
What is the difference between 350, #30 and #27 wig colors?
All three are warm, but at different depths. #27 is a strawberry or honey blonde, the lightest and most golden. #30 is a light auburn, deeper and browner. 350 is the bright copper between them: more orange than #30 and deeper than #27. #27 appears as the streaks in our 4/27 highlight, and #30 can be made on request, quoted before you pay.
How do you tone a copper wig darker, to auburn?
Apply a warm red-brown dye over the 350. Copper takes it straight away, since no lift is needed. Work on damp hair from the ends up, keep it off the lace, and check early, because lightened hair absorbs color fast. For just a deeper root, dye only the first inch or two at the part. We can also deepen it before shipping, quoted before you pay.
Can a ginger wig look natural?
Yes, if the face around it matches. Natural redheads have brows lighter than their hair and more brown than orange, so a soft auburn or light brown brow looks most real; black brows look like a bold, deliberate contrast. A faint copper-brown root at the part and peach or copper blush on the cheeks do the rest.
