Bouncy Curly Wig

Look and feel
Bouncy curly has round, springy curls with a lot of movement. It is playful and full, a good pick for events and photos.
How it looks at each length
Bouncy curly has round, springy curls that lift away from the head, so the wig looks shorter and wider than its stretched length. It comes from 16 to 30 inches (41 to 76 cm), in natural black only. On the body, 16 inches makes a full cloud of curls at the shoulders, 20 inches reaches the collarbone, 24 to 26 inches the chest and 30 inches falls past the bra line. Shorter lengths keep the curls lifted at the roots; from about 26 inches the weight pulls the top curls down and the shape turns longer and less round.
Which density to choose
Bouncy curly comes only in 200%, 250% and 300%, because the pattern is made to look full; there is no light version. 200% is the everyday choice and already looks thick. 250% gives a rounder, bigger shape for events and photos. 300% is the maximum volume, and on 26 to 30 inches it is heavy and warm, so check the weight shown for each option.
How to style it
Shake it out after putting it on and define a few front curls with a curl cream.
- Pineapple at night: gather the curls loosely on top of your head with a satin scrunchie, so they keep their lift for the next day.
- Headband look: push the front back with a wide headband and let the curls burst out behind it, which also hides the lace line.
- Side-swept: pin one side back with crossed bobby pins and let the other side fall forward over the shoulder for an evening look.
- Diffuser on low: dry damp curls with a diffuser on low heat and low speed, cupping them upward, for more root lift without stretching them.
- Day two or three: wet your palms and press the curls upward to wake up the bounce, instead of soaking the whole wig.
Care tips
Avoid heavy products that weigh the curls down; a light mousse keeps the bounce.
Common mistakes and how to avoid them
- Brushing the curls into shape: a brush turns round curls into a frizzy cloud. Shape them with your fingers only, and detangle only when wet with conditioner.
- Sleeping on it or storing it flat crushes one side of the curls. Keep it on a wig stand, or loose in a satin bag, never folded in a box.
- Choosing 300% for everyday wear without checking the weight: on long lengths it is heavy and hot. 200% already looks full; keep 300% for events.
How it compares
Bouncy curly has the roundest, springiest curls we offer: they lift away from the head, while burmese curly spirals hang down. Jerry curl and pixie curly are smaller and tighter, and kinky curly has an afro finish. Compared with deep wave, bouncy curly is a true curl with much more volume. It comes only in natural black, with 13x4 transparent lace and 200% to 300% density; for other colors or lace sizes, look at jerry curl or burmese curly.
Questions about these wigs
What is a bouncy curly wig?
A bouncy curly wig is a lace front with round, springy curls, bigger than jerry curl, that jump back when you pull them. Ours is 100% human hair in natural black, with a 13x4 transparent lace front, 16 to 30 inches long, in 200%, 250% or 300% density. It is made for volume and movement rather than a long, hanging curl.
How to keep a bouncy curly wig bouncy?
Reset it with water, not more product. When the curls drop, soak the wig, condition it, rake a little mousse through while it is wet and let it air-dry on a stand without touching it. Day to day, lift the roots with your fingertips instead of pulling curls apart, and sleep with the curls in a loose pineapple under a satin bonnet.
How to wash a bouncy curly wig?
Gently, hanging down, finishing with cool water. Finger-detangle with conditioner, wet it with lukewarm water and squeeze shampoo through from roots to ends without rubbing. Condition, rinse with cool water to smooth the hair, then blot with a microfiber towel or an old T-shirt. Let it dry on a stand so the curls spring up on their own; wash it only when product builds up or it feels heavy.
How to fluff a bouncy curly wig?
Fluff the roots, not the curls. Put the wig on, tip your head forward and move the roots with your fingertips; if the crown looks flat, lift it with a wide-tooth pick. Do not pull dry curls apart one by one, which makes frizz. If one side got crushed, mist it with water and scrunch it upward.
Can I wear a bouncy curly wig every day?
Yes, especially at 200% density, which looks full while staying comfortable. The adjustable anti-slip band holds it, and a 16 to 20 inch length keeps the weight and heat down. Between washes, a light mist of water and leave-in plus a quick lift at the roots is enough, and a satin bonnet at night keeps the curls round.
Can a bouncy curly wig be dyed?
Yes, with limits. It comes in natural black, and going darker or adding a soft tone is simple. Lightening is harder: bleach can loosen the round curl, and very light shades may not be reachable from dark hair. Ask us before ordering: if you need another color, we tell you what is possible and quote it before you pay.
Can a bouncy curly wig be glueless?
Not as a standard option. It comes with a 13x4 transparent lace front, which is usually secured with adhesive, tape or an elastic band. If you want it glueless, ask us before you order and we quote it before you pay; for a few hours of wear, an elastic band plus the adjustable anti-slip band often holds it without glue.
