The color

613 blonde is the lightest blonde on wig color charts, a bright honey-platinum. It is also the usual base for custom colors, since light hair takes new tones easily.

Who it flatters

613 is a pale golden blonde, so undertone decides how it reads. On fair skin with pink or neutral undertones it looks bright and airy; toned ash or pearl it turns icy and suits cool skin best. On olive, golden or deep skin it makes a bold, polished contrast, warmest when toned honey or golden, since cool ash can make warm skin look sallow. A soft brown root keeps it from looking like a hat. Brows a few shades darker than the hair look natural, and a warmer blush and defined lip balance the brightness.

How to style it

Blonde shows every detail of a cut. Straight 613 gives a sharp, bright line, clean in a blunt bob; body wave looks soft and glamorous as light rolls over each wave; deep wave looks fullest, since the pale curls reflect light from every side. Heat is the risk: lightened hair scorches and yellows before dark hair does, so start around 150 °C (300 °F) with a protectant and go no higher than you need. Curl each section once and pin it to cool instead of going over it again.

Care tips

Lightened hair is more delicate: condition it every wash and keep heat moderate.

613 yellows over time: hard-water minerals, sun, heat and product buildup all push it brassy. Use purple shampoo once yellow shows, not every wash; too much leaves a lilac or grey cast. Wash in cool water, deep condition every time, and use a clarifying shampoo now and then if your water is hard. Keep it out of pools, since pool water can tint lightened hair green, and cover it or use a UV spray in strong sun. Air-dry whenever you can.

Dyeing and toning

613 is the easiest wig to recolor, because the dark pigment is already gone. Toner moves it to ash, pearl, platinum, honey or strawberry blonde, and pink, blue, lilac or copper come out vivid. Darker works too, but brown or black needs a warm filler first, or it turns flat and greenish. Further bleaching is not realistic: the hair is at its limit, so icy shades come from toner. Tell us the tone, whether you want a root, and send a photo; custom color is quoted before you pay.

Questions about these wigs

Where can I buy a blonde wig?

Here: our 613 blonde comes in 100% human hair as a straight, body wave or deep wave lace front, 12 to 32 inches (30 to 81 cm), and as a straight bob. You can buy one piece at retail, or ten and more at wholesale prices, mixing styles and colors. For Mexico and Colombia the price includes shipping and import duties, and before shipping we send photos or a short video of your exact wig.

How much is a blonde wig?

It depends mostly on the length, then on density and lace, because they decide how much hair goes into the wig. Blonde usually costs more than natural black at the same length, since the hair has to be lightened and toned before the wig is made. Each wig shows the price of every option before you order: retail from one piece, wholesale from ten. For Mexico and Colombia the price is delivered, with shipping and duties included.

Can you dye a wig blonde?

Yes, with bleach, but very light blondes may not be reachable from dark hair. Dark hair passes through red, orange and yellow as it lifts, and every step dries it more, so at home a natural black wig is best taken to a golden or honey blonde. Lift it slowly with a low-volume developer, keep the bleach off the lace, then tone. For pale blonde, start from a 613 wig, or ask us for a custom color, quoted before you pay.

How do you darken a blonde wig?

With dye or toner; going darker never needs bleach. For a deeper or warmer blonde, a demi-permanent dye or a golden toner a shade or two darker is enough. For brown or black, fill the lightened hair first with a warm red-gold shade, rinse, then apply the dark color; without a filler it can turn greenish, flat or patchy. Work in sections on damp hair, strand-test at the nape, keep dye off the lace and rinse in cool water.

What is a 613 wig?

A 613 wig is a wig in the lightest blonde on the wig color chart: a pale golden blonde made by lightening dark hair. It is worn as it is, or toned and dyed into other shades, since there is no dark pigment left to fight. Ours come as straight, body wave and deep wave lace fronts from 12 to 32 inches (30 to 81 cm), and as a straight bob.

How do you dye a 613 wig?

Wash it, then dye it damp in thin sections. Strand-test first at the nape, wear gloves, and work the color from ends to roots, keeping it off the lace, since dye stains lace and knots. Lightened hair absorbs color fast, so check sooner than the box says and rinse in cool water until it runs clear. Semi-permanent and direct dyes are gentlest; for brown or black, fill with a warm tone first.

How do you tone a 613 wig?

With a purple or blue-violet toner, chosen by the result you want. For a softer, less yellow blonde, use purple shampoo or a purple mask on damp hair and rinse after a few minutes. For ash or platinum, mix a violet toner with a low-volume developer and watch it closely: lightened hair grabs toner fast and can turn lilac. Rinse cool and condition afterward.

How do you make a blonde wig look natural?

Give it depth, a softer edge and a cleaner tone. A slightly darker root at the part makes 613 look grown in rather than new; keeping brows darker than the hair helps too. Pluck a few hairs at the front so the hairline is uneven, and tint the lace to your skin if the part looks too pale. Tone out strong yellow, which reads as synthetic in photos.

How do you add dark roots to a blonde wig?

Dye only the first inch or two at the part and crown with a semi-permanent light brown or dark blonde, then blend it down with a damp comb so there is no hard line. Keep the dye off the lace and knots. For a temporary version, a root touch-up spray or powder does the same job and washes out. Pick a root only a few shades darker than the blonde; a big jump looks harsh.

How do you wear a blonde wig with dark hair?

Flatten and cover your hair completely. Braid it into flat cornrows or flat pin curls, then wear a nude or skin-tone wig cap rather than a black one, which can shadow through pale hair at the part. Lay the lace so none of your own hair sits under the edge. A soft root on the wig hides any dark hairs that escape at the part.

Do you have to bleach the knots on a blonde wig?

No, usually not. On a 613 wig the knots are the same pale blonde as the hair, so through transparent lace they already read as scalp instead of dark dots. Bleaching them would only weaken hair that is already lightened. If the part looks too light against your skin, tint the lace with a little foundation or lace spray instead.
